Book Discussion Group - "Plainsong" by Kent Haruf - August 13 5:30 p.m.

Haruf reveals a whole community as he interweaves the stories of a pregnant high school girl, a lonely teacher, a pair of boys abandoned by their mother, and a couple of crusty bachelor farmers.

Living History featuring "Molly Brown" - August 20 5:30 p.m.

The Town of Vail Public Library will host a living history presentation featuring “Molly Brown” portrayed by Mary Jane Bradbury.
