Toddler Story Time
10:00 Tuesday and Wednesday
Ages 18-30 months
From their unique perspective, perched on the lap of a beloved adult, these very young minds absorb what is going on around them and may already be learning an appreciation for books and reading. Toddler story hours contain songs, finger plays, introductory art and, of course, stories. The books chosen to present to toddlers will include the ever-important ingredients: rhythm, repetition, and rhyme.
Preschool Story Time
11:00 Tuesday and Wednesday
Ages 2-5 years
This story time is filled with rhymes, songs, dancing, and books. The preschool set enjoys the interaction and discovery of this gathering that often finishes with a brief craft project. Based on weekly themes, the stories chosen for this age (30 months to five years), appeal especially to 2 to 5 year olds.
Summer Story Time Topics
May: Mother’s Day, Hats, Pockets, Shoes, Foxes in the Neighborhood, Tools and Construction
