Starting October 1, 2013, the Health Insurance Marketplace, sometimes known as the health insurance “exchange”, will begin open enrollment. Coverage starts January 1, 2014.

Connect For Health Colorado will be the new Health Insurance Marketplace and the primary tool for delivering information to Colorado residents about their health coverage options. You can visit their website www.connectforhealthco.com for more information.

The Vail Public Library will be hosting several information sessions to help consumers learn more about the Affordable Care Act and the Connect For Health Marketplace. These presentations will be offered by Maria Vazquez, manager for the Health Area Network Guides program in Eagle County.
