"If you will protest courageously, and yet with dignity and Christian love, when the history books are written in future generations, the historians will have to pause and say, There lived a great people-a black people-who injected new meaning and dignity into the veins of civilization."

—Martin Luther King, Jr. (1929-68) African-American reverend, civil rights leader

On October 1, 2013, the Health Insurance Marketplace, sometimes known as the health insurance “exchange”, began open enrollment. Coverage starts January 1, 2014.

The Vail Public Library will be hosting several information sessions to help consumers learn more about the Affordable Care Act and the Connect For Health Marketplace. These presentations will be offered by Maria Vazquez, manager for the Health Area Network Guides program in Eagle County. Get information about the new Affordable Health Care Act and have all your questions answered.

Please join us on 10/29 at 10:30 a.m. and 11/06 at 2:00 p.m. in the Vail Public Library’s Community Room.
