The Vail Recreation District's Community Programming and the Town of Vail Public Library will host Cocktails and Canvas – Wine Glass painting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8 featuring step-by-step instructions to create personalized wine glasses. Lauren Merrill of Alpine Arts Center will guide participants through a demonstration of glass painting that will allow them to leave with their own unique masterpiece.

 

Participants may bring their own wine glass or purchase an inexpensive wine glass at class. All paints and other materials will be provided at a cost of $15; instruction is underwritten by the Town of Vail Public Library. This special event is open to ages 18 and older. A cash bar will be available for those over 21 years of age. Space is limited and reservations are required. Call 970-479-2292 ext. 5 fordetails or to make a reservation. VRD's Community Programming is located on the 2nd floor of the Lionshead Welcome Center.
