Please join the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens and the Town of Vail Public Library for a special Flower Arranging Evening of Engagement @ your library at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday Mar. 25 in the community room of the Library. Betty Ford Alpine Gardens flower arranging class is intended for individuals interested in learning how to create floral designs that will highlight the flower’s most beautiful and unique characteristics. Participants will learn how to handle and care for flowers, proper use of tools such as a floral knife and clippers, and how to condition flowers for optimal vase-life. A material fee of $10.00 will cover the cost of instruction, flowers and a vase.  Individuals may bring their own vase, if they wish.  Nick Courtens, the instructor, is Senior Horticulturist at Betty Ford Alpine Gardens.  A graduate of Longwood Gardens Professional Gardener program, Nick has extensive experience in creating floral designs and conducting a variety of gardening classes

The fee of $10 per person is payable by cash or check, however, space is limited. Please RSVP by Friday, March, 21 to Liz Campbell at 970-476-0103 ext. 5 or
