"Buying books would be a good thing if one could also buy the time to read them in: but as a rule the purchase of books is mistaken for the appropriation of their contents."

—Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860) German philosopher, believed will to live is fundamental reality

The Vail Public Library will kick off its Summer Reading Program, “Dig into Reading”, with Brian Hall and friends on Tuesday, June 11, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the library’s Community Room. Brian’s performance will begin at 2:00 p.m. after registration and the weekly summer reading activities. For over two decades, Brian Hall has used Beaver Creek Children’s Theatre and www.beavercreekkids.com, as his own theatrical laboratory to create entertainment and fun programs to delight the children and families who visit Colorado.  “Our performances are a smorgasbord of theatrical delights for children of all ages.” The library is thrilled to have his improvisational show as its kick off!
