"If you will protest courageously, and yet with dignity and Christian love, when the history books are written in future generations, the historians will have to pause and say, There lived a great people-a black people-who injected new meaning and dignity into the veins of civilization."

—Martin Luther King, Jr. (1929-68) African-American reverend, civil rights leader

Calling all teens! Teens, sixth grade and up have the chance to win one of two stocking full of books, movies and more.

The library is putting together two stockings to choose from – fantasy and drama.  During December, teens will receive a ticket for the drawing every time they visit the library and check something out; books, movies and music all qualify for a ticket.  Even digital books and downloadable items will count if you show us that you have them checked out.

Fill out your tickets at the desk.  Increase your chances by reading and visiting often!  The drawing will be held on January 3rd.
